Lecture: Early 19th Century Stenciled Quilts (30-45 minutes): Overview of stenciled textiles and their relationship with other stenciled surfaces popular between 1820-1860.

Lecture: Six Ideas for 6-inch Squares (30-45 minutes): Presenting a variety of ideas (more than 6, really) for charm square fabric swaps, from simple 1-patch quilts to complex hexagons.

Honeycomb Waffle (1-day, Confident Beginner and up, Technique): Three-dimensional nine-block wall hanging using Sara Nephew's Speedy 3 D piecing technique. Book and ruler required

London Roads (1- or 2-day, Beginner, Basic Skill-building): Three basic blocks combine to make an easy and attractive quilt starting with a large-scale focus fabric.

Sunshine Pineapple (1- or 2-day, Intermediate, Project): Tropical nine-block lap quilt, pieced and fusible machine appliqué. Perfect for batiks. Pattern required.

Stenciled Quilts in Early 19th Century Style (1/2-, 1- or 2-day, Confident Beginner and up, Technique): Stenciled blocks, either traditional or contemporary, combine with piecing to make a variety of fun projects. Inks, stencils, and tools provided by instructor (additional materials fee required).

Twisted Sisters ( 1-day, Confident Beginner and up, Skill-building): Funky and fun nine-block lap quilt designed by Ami Simms. Rotary template and pattern required.

Lectures can be combined with hands-on workshops.
